Refund and cancellation requests are handled through support@stackmentor.dev. Include the account email, invoice or school name, and the request you are making.

Individual consumers

Mandatory consumer withdrawal, digital-service, and defect rights always apply. If a consumer asks for the service to start during a withdrawal period and later withdraws, the law may allow a reasonable charge for the service already provided.

If no Mentor access was used, we normally provide a full refund for the first purchase. After the withdrawal period, used service time is not refundable except for a duplicate charge, a serious service defect, or a prolonged outage. This discretionary policy does not limit mandatory legal rights.

Schools, bootcamps, and program customers

A program customer may request cancellation before the next renewal. Cancellation normally stops renewal at the end of the current paid period. We do not normally refund used seats or the current paid period. Unused selected-seat value is handled as credits according to the billing information shown in the product or the Custom Program Plan Order.

We may issue a refund or credit when StackMentor cannot provide the paid service for a serious, prolonged service failure, or when the applicable Custom Program Plan Order says that a refund is due.

A Custom Program Plan follows the signed Custom Program Plan Order. Unless that order says otherwise, prepaid custom-plan fees are not reduced or refunded because fewer seats are used, unused seats do not become credits, and the plan does not renew after its stated end date. Any custom refund, service-credit, early-termination, or additional-seat rule must be written in the Custom Program Plan Order.

Processing

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. We may verify the requester and review account, payment, and usage records before issuing a discretionary refund. Refund decisions do not remove a customer's right to challenge a payment through the applicable payment or consumer-protection process.
